Monitor & Status Page - know when things go down

Vershun now monitors your services and shows their status to your users.

What's included:

  • Multi-protocol monitoring - HTTP, TCP, Ping, and SMTP. Check any internet-reachable service.

  • Public status page - 90-day uptime bars, response times, active incidents. Hosted on your subdomain or custom domain.

  • Automatic incident detection - when a service goes down, Vershun creates an incident, notifies your team, and resolves it when it's back up.

  • 5 notification channels - Email, Slack, Discord, Telegram, and webhooks. Per-monitor configuration.

  • Real-time dashboard - live updates via SSE. No refresh needed. See checks, response times, and incidents as they happen.

  • Maintenance scheduling - plan downtime windows and notify subscribers in advance.

  • Status in the widget - your users see service health directly in the in-app widget. No extra setup.

This is a full status page solution — not a bolt-on. We built it to compete with Instatus and Statuspage at a fraction of the price.

Included in all paid plans. Free plan gets 3 monitors (HTTPS only).

Widget redesign - richer, faster, more engaging

The widget just got a major upgrade.

We redesigned every detail of the in-app widget to make it feel like a premium product — because it is.

What's new:

  • Month grouping — posts are organized by month with clean separators

  • Rich content — images, code blocks, and links render directly in the widget, with expand/collapse for long posts

  • Redesigned reactions — bigger, more inviting reaction buttons with live counters

  • Share button — one-click link copy for any post

  • Tabbed navigation — switch between Changelog, Roadmap, and Feedback without leaving the widget

  • Smooth animations — posts slide in with staggered transitions

  • Custom scrollbar — subtle, thin, no visual noise

Under 16 KB gzipped. Shadow DOM. Zero impact on your site's performance.

The widget is your product's front door for updates. Now it looks the part.

AI-powered post generation

Writer's block? Not anymore.

Click "Generate with AI" in the editor and get a complete changelog draft in seconds. The AI writes benefit-first, jargon-free copy based on your input — a title, a few bullet points, or even just a label.

You can also batch it: select shipped issues from your backlog, click Generate, and the AI writes a cohesive post covering all of them in one go.

10 generations per day on Pro. Every generation creates a draft — you always review before publishing.

GitHub & Linear sync with AI enrichment

Your developer workflow now feeds directly into your changelog.

GitHub Sync — when you publish a release on GitHub, Vershun creates a changelog draft automatically. Enable AI enrichment to rewrite technical release notes into user-friendly language.

Linear Sync — when an issue moves to "Done" in Linear, a draft appears in Vershun. Same AI rewriting, same review-before-publish flow.

The AI suggests a label (New, Improved, Fixed) and rewrites jargon-heavy notes into clear, benefit-first copy. You review and publish — nothing goes live without your approval.

Set up in 2 minutes: paste a webhook URL, save, done.

Available on Pro plans and above.

Public roadmap - show what's coming

Transparency builds trust. Now you can show your users exactly what's planned and what's in progress.

The Public Roadmap displays your items in three columns: Planned, In Progress, and Done. Users can vote directly on roadmap items to signal what matters most.

When you move an item to "Done", Vershun prompts you to create a changelog post for it — closing the loop from plan to announcement.

The roadmap is accessible from your public changelog page and as a dedicated tab in the widget.

Available on Pro plans and above.

Feedback board with anonymous voting

Your users now have a voice — without friction.

The new Feedback Board lets visitors submit ideas and vote on them, with no login required. Anonymous voting means more participation, less friction.

How it works:

  • Users submit feature requests directly from the widget or public page

  • Anyone can upvote — no account needed

  • You see what matters most, sorted by votes

  • When you ship a requested feature, voters get notified automatically

No more guessing what to build next. Let your users tell you.

Available on all paid plans.

Custom domains included from €7/mo

Your changelog should live on your domain, not ours.

With Vershun, set up changelog.yoursite.com in under a minute. Add a CNAME record, we handle the rest — automatic HTTPS via Let's Encrypt, zero downtime.

This is included in the Starter plan at €7/mo. For reference, Beamer charges $99/mo and AnnounceKit $129/mo for the same feature.

No technical setup. No waiting. Just your brand, your domain.
